Default water pipes

Does anyone know what types of metal pipes can be used to join hoses together. I have plenty of galvanised pipe of the correct size. Is it any good ?

Cheers

Hi Peter,

Not sure if you mean short connections or long tubes to join the rubber hoses.

For the long extensions I,ve used "Henry Hoover " tubes, perfect fit, stainless & best of all Cheap ( approx £2.50 per 1mtr tube ), plus they look nice too

Got mine off ebay

cheers
andy

I've found my pipes and plumbed it all in, using the original hoses. But after proudly showing the wife my handiwork I noticed that I haven't got a connection to the bottom of the expansion tank. On the Sierra it goes to the radiator but my clio rad has only 2 connections not three.

Any ideas ?

Cheers

Peter
