Default steering rack
Quick Question guys
Is the mark 1 steering rack the same as on the mark 2 escort?

they are not the same ,im pretty sure the mk1 has a larger thread on the end for the track rod ends.mk2 easy to get from rally design.

Mk 1 is imperial threads Mk2 is metric.

i have the mk1 & have a friend who has the mk2 & they are the same exept for the treads (mk1 has the imperial threads 1/2 20 unf) so my rack is now in place & have made the extensions myself (the outer threads on the extensions are metric M14).
