Bulkhead Panel Fitment ? - Saturn
Hi guys,
I have used this forum on many occasions browsing the questions that others have posted and now it's my turn so here goes. I have recently purchased a fibreglass bulkhead from saturn but have no other bodywork panels. My question is, where is the best position to locate it so that has best allignment with the scuttle panel when i fit it, I cant seem to find any positonal reference in the book. Also what is the best way to cut fibreglass ? Many thanks Dan |

Personally i think your best waiting until you have the other panels eg scuttle to align it all together.
I use a hacksaw or dremel to trim fibreglass, the important thing is wear a dust mask and gloves if poss as the fibreglass will irritate the shit out of your skin. |

You may be better leaving it untill you have other panels like the nosecone and line them up accrordingly,I tried this yesterday and decided it's the easiest way for my needs as the side panels etc will need to be fitted to suit.
Rad needs fitting to suit noscone as well, dependent on rad choice used.

Thanks guys much appreciated i half expected that to be the answer. Looks like I'm going to have wack all the bodywork on my creditcard an worry later ! The reason I wanted to get it fitted now is because I intend to fit all my electrics to the back of it.

You don't need all your bodywork just yet. All you need is the scuttle to start you off.
