So cool! I wonder if the CNC lathe can do an offset mushroom in one go :-)

We have yet to find out, have to go to the manufacturers (Hurco) for training on the lathe and the 5 axis mill oh dear a week away all expenses paid.

The mill will be able to do them in one go then. The lathe would need to feed the X axis back and forth in time with the speed of the spindle to be able to do them which I would think is unlikely but would be fun to watch if it can!

Once you get into cnc programming you'll love it, I used to use a Harrison 454 lathe with a Fanuc OT controller. The amount of jimmy jobs I did on that was unreal
I must be honest though, I'd avoid the XYZ mill like the plague.

I havn't paid for them the uni that i now work for has so hey i will use anything thats free
