Looking at the pics of the back end it is very different to Haynes -
Have a look at my gallery below http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...4&l=a9831a9319 and if you look at photo 53 you can see it is quite different.

Hi,
I'm not a specialist, and I can't tell what is the chassis. This forum is more specifically dedicated to Haynes Roadsters, and even if you will find here people with a big experience of kit cars and "7 like" cars, may be you should also try http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/
where, (for having been on this forum before), you will find people from a lot of different horizons and building very different cars (all 7 like kit cars, but much more). You should try to post you pictures on this forum, and you might have better chances for identification.
Hope this will help.

Thanks for the replys guys the only real reson im interested to know what it is as the chap selling it says it is a haynes locost nwhich is 2 cars but he is supplying the haynes build a sportscar manual with the car so im unsurre if i will still be able to follow this book to have a go at building 1. not seen the book before so unsure if i can use that chassis and carry on from there etc.

also can you buy the suspension brackets seperatly and i dont mind abit of welding as it comes with a mig welder.

Anybody got any idea on the sort of money i should be paying for this little lot

any help appreciated

A locost uses different wishbones and has different chassis dimensions so I think the haynes book would be of limited use.

Has the guy given you the reason for sale?

I think you could face a bit of a challenge with that one, where as if you got your hands on a haynes chassis it would be more staight forward as parts are readily available for the likes of saturn, talon, and others

But on the other hand I know very little about locost's so more biased towards the haynes
