Brake Flaring Test?
Just wondering if there's a way I can test my flares won't leak before I fit the lines to the car permanently? being new to flaring and unsure of it still a bit I'd hate to fit them all and go to fill it up to find they leak

If they don't look terribly deformed, it will be just a matter of torquing them up a bit more if they leak.

Brake pipe flairs should look like the ones in the pictures below, if they dont just keep practicing untill they do.

Well my practice ones look ok. the hardest part seems to be getting perfectly straight on the pipe before starting to flare. When I look at mine from the side, they just look ever so slightly uneven (eg slightly higher on one side).

Are you cutting the pipe with a hacksaw or using the pipe roller cutters ?

I've been using a dremel as I found it hard to cut with the rollers as it would end up crushing the end.
