Default D1/U1 intersection

I cant see a clear pic in the book of D1/U1 intersect.I assume that i want to angle D1 in to get maximum contact with the U1 upright?
If anyone could post a close up pic would be much appreciated.

sorry i haven,t got a pic with me but yes, you are looking for as much contact between the two meeting face,s, you might find that a little bit of steel "sticks" out at the outside edge, that you can grind off ( only about 2mm at the corner of D1 or D2 where it meets U1 or U2)

hope this helps

cheers
andy
