Default Steering column problem

Hi,I´m building a lefthand drive & have just putt in the motor , I was worryed that the motor mounts would be in the way of the steering column & I was right but a broblem i didnt see comming was that the fuel pump thingy is on that side too ,any ides on how to go arownd this? has anyone had to do this?

Change the fuel pump to an electric unit, put it in the boot, and modify the engine mount to provide clearance, or make a new one, or change the run of the steering column if you can't change the engine mount.

I think that changing the run of the steering column would be the best option but what is the best way to do that?

I´ll try to post some photos tomorrow ,it would be great to read what others think of the build so far & maybe get some more good advise.

because im tall i ran my steering column over the top of the pedal box instead of through it, caused me a world of problems with the alternator but might help you with your problem, and also drops the steering wheel angle a bit which is nice
