Default Progress Pic + Problem

I thought it was about time that I posted a couple of pics of my build.
Started in Nov 2008 but had a year off between Nov 2009 and late Dec 2009 due to moving into my first house.

So far pretty much all the welding is done only the rad and brake lines to fit, changing the drivers bulkhead to 3mm plate and fitting a better steering column bearing.

The problem I've got is with the bonnet. With a 5mm gap at the scuttle there is about 1/2 inch gap at the nose.
Is it something that some edging strip will sort out or is there another answer??

Tweak the scuttle forward and the nose back?

The nose only sits in one position so leave it where it is and move the scuttle forward by the ammount of the biggest gap, then trim the bonnet to suit

Mine was similar when i fitted my bodywork

I think that will be the best option Mark I was hoping to use as little trim around the bonnet as possible.
