Putting polybushes onto the wishbones
I started trying to get my polybushes and made a dogs dinner of the 1st one. I can't get the poly bit to sit flush with the bone as I made the mistake of trying to put both bushes and the crush tube on at the same time... Now it's too wide to fit in the suspension bracket and I cant figure a way to get it back out to put it right. So my question is whether to try getting it out somehow or can I just widen the mouth of the bracket slightly to allow it to fit in?

can you file the Poly till it fits? A few strokes with a flat bastard should do it. |

Filling them down a bit worked a treat, cheers minicountryman. Out of curiosity though does anyone know a good way to get them out as they'll eventually wear out and need replaced?

If they wear out then it does not matter if you destroy them in the process so you could drill or drift them out

They drift out easily enough.
