found a website that sells the right grade of ally sheet cut to almost any size in most thickness's you want online (squares and oblongs)
plus no p&P over £200 or £10 under so can work out cheaper depending on what you want or need

could save a load of cutting and you only pay for what you need
its not quite as cheap as buying a full sheet but my problem was that i would need a full sheet deliverd to my house as even my massive estate is no big enough
and this cost money also someone has filled my garage with engine parts, welders some kind of tubular frame that almost fills the place and loads of bits and bobs so i have nowhere to lay it out to mark and cut it all out
so i orderd my bits to suit max height and width so only minamal cuting is needed
