Default Fastest And Slowest Build times

I was wondering earlier how long it will take me to build the roadster.

It got me to wondering what the shortest build time is and how long the longest build has taken.

Any times from finished builders?

Andy

I'm assuming your version of finished is through IVA?

In that case i'm surely in the running for longest.

I started 0ctober 2008.
Drove it for the first time in February 2009, got it checked over for a Pre-MOT at the MOT station in March 2009.

Started a new job in the April 2009, so I strippped it down again to change a few things where money was tight and its been in that state for a while caused by lack of time with University and work.

Just collecting parts to complete to a high standard.

I started mine, late May 2007.

Have it rolling but still a fair bit to do before first start/drive

it all depends on how much spare time and money you have
more time and money = quicker build

I think 9 monthsish is the quickest so far.

If all the shopping was done and you were building on a bought chassis , If you had spent some time on the forum, if you had a week off work and you were not side tracked you would have a car on the button and driving in a week. Trimming and making it pretty would take another week.
