Default R! bike carbs question

Hi all
I am using r1 bike carbs with the r1 fuel pump BUT what do i do with the pinto fuel pump di i block it off and if so how would the best way to do that

A standard fuel pump gasket, yes
There is a little drive pin actuated by a cam on the auxiliary shaft, remove that after removing the fuel pump and before putting the blanking plate on
