a for sale section has been asked for in the past by chris gibbs but haynes come back with a no.

as for traders paying to advertise. the purpose of this site is solely for people building their cars not for traders trying to flog their wares. Haynes pay for all the hosting and web management hence we dont need crappy adverts like locostbuilders and other forums to pay for the running costs

personally i dont have a problem with a non trader affiliated member starting up a recommended traders thread and i will be happy to make it a sticky thread so it stays on top and clear out all the non related junk.

i would sugget that they list the traders name address contact number and email along with a brief description of what they sell

Well I think that would be a cracking idea, especially for those who are new to building or are considering tackling a build We, as a forum, need to encourage these people so giving them the low down on who supplies what can make things a lot clearer.

In fact, I think I might by that 'non trader affiliated member' you mention Ash
