Default Fuel level sender

Just doing the dreaded wiring at the moment which has made me consider a fuel guage. I bought a tank from Kev several months ago but never thought about a fuel guage at the time. How many people have done without them?

If I do decide to fit one I will need to cut a hole in the tank to fit the sender unit, any suggestions as to how to fix it in?

Cheers
Ken

Hi Ken.....blind rivnuts and nitrile gasket or large o ring ....if you use ordinary rivnuts then a small o ring for each bolt, make sure you choose the larger side of the tank for a sender and just bend or shape the float to give max and min travel

Kev

Thanks for the speedy reply. Sounds easy enough but next stupid question! what do you mean by the "larger side of the tank"?
