Yes, I like building the car enjoy all the fiddles and the chats on the Forum and meeting the other buddies, but once it is built it is the end of honeymoon. we do not have roads then do not look forward to the horrible winters, need to pay for storage and so on!!!!!!!!!!

i personally love building things and tinkering, will build many more things with wheels after the roadster, something like this only a tad bigger next i think

i think me mother would completely loose it if i took up much more space

I used to spend hours and hours scratch building model RC aircraft. Once I got the first test flight out of the way I'd lose interest and build another one.
I'm hoping it won't be the same with the roadster!
I'm already thinking about building the single seater next though...

Default the passion

I just think that building the car and not enjoying it might not be worth building it.

I suppose it depends on how much it means to you. The thought of having a car ive built from scratch, knowing that before i started it i couldnt weld, hadnt a great deal of experience working on cars. I would never let the car go, i imagine it becoming a family heirloom

But if i could do it all, weld, build engines etc then i suppose it would just be another car that would come and go.

Also other factors like time, nagging woman , Money probably play their part in not finishing the build

Wink the passion

I can agree on the money part that it could be a problem for some people but the woman issue well if she supports your dreams and goals I think she should understand and can't agree to much with either you know how to weld and engines and all that or you learn from building this car if its a passion of yours then it should not change your feelings about the car and yes in my eyes the car would be in my heart always cause I built it from scratch
