i have played with efi and i have played with carbs. carbs are harder. i love my ms3 you type the number and it does it. you need to sit back and look at what you was trying to do. tune a car in a static position! impossible. you have to drive it and tune it at the same time. there are two ways fo doing it. go out on your own and datalog everything then make informed changes. or get a mate to drive it and you tap away at the laptop or vice versa if said mate knows what he is doing.
at least give it a try on the road before you give in.

Been out of the loop for a while
 Brilliant to read the news that you have passed the IVA test David Your car is looking great, can't believe what a super job you managed to do in such a confined workspace. Top marks all round i'd say  Not long to wait for your inspection now. A great big well done mate
