Looking very good there but you really ought to unwind that extension lead off the drum. Drawing the kind of power a welding set does it can get hot enough to catch fire like that. I have seen one go up in smoke before and its a bit scary, also the fumes from the burning insulation are pretty noxious.

yeah waiting on a 16amp plug so i can plug it straight into the socket in the wall thats there. In the mean time I'll unwind it!

Any ideas on the orientation of U4 and U5 as to which direction the 5degree angle should face?

Is that table braced at all?

I always forget to unwind my extension, despite knowing the reason and telling people off for running 3 TEA urns off a coiled lead many times..
