The rear calipers,hubs and carrirers ect can be used and are the same as the sierra ones i presume? or have i just gone and bought completely the wrong thing? hah

Should fit fine, they are slightly different but it should not make any difference.

They will be vented disk which was only ever the case on the 4x4 Cosworth Sierras.

Scorpio and Cosworth 4x4 use same rear disks.

Got the original diff i found as well as listed as ford 7.5inch lsd. For £120 but did a offer for £100 that was accepted and its in Poole so only 15min drive. Think that is a ok price or should i have haggled a bit more?

Right picked up the diff. It is a lsd and its fantastic! but huge heh
Just had a look at the brackets and well think im going to have to make the top a bit wider. What do you guys think?
Also the guy have a few more so if anyone wants his number give me a msg and i will forward it to you.

Well in sierra lands theres 3 ways.

1) Swap to 7.5" Beam
2) cut the lug on the diff down.
3) cut and shut the top mount on the beam.


1) is out, 2) devalues the diff

so I recon you cut and shut the mounting dracket and make it a bit wider

indeed was thinking of getting another plate and widening it a bit for the top. Will take measurements ect and make a new threat about it. As i belive it would be quite handy for people to know. I really dont want to have to cut into the diff
