So iv now past the IVA and the paper work for registering it to get a Reg number is now in the post so the count down has started. It will be the longest 3 + 2 weeks ever.

yep the back and sides are alloy. I put a slight curve in the back panel in the very early days when I built my chassis. I didn't fancy having a straight flat back so I had not chose of having a fiberglass rear tub.

Well done getting through the iva
Of you dont mind could you tell me if you have rails on your seats and if so could you tell me the distance from rear seat back where you welded in the supports for the rails

No problem. I went out and had a quick measure and from the front edge of the seat back to the centre of the fists rail is 200mm and then 280mm to the centre of the front rail. My passenger seat is bolted down to the rails and the driver seat is on slides.

My sides are almost one peace Alloy if you have a look at my pics the ones dated the 15th may ish you can just make out that its one peace all the way down the car side and a little peace over the rear wheels arch. With the wheel arch on it is only leaving a small seam that looks ok.
