Default Ciao Donor

Very satisfiying day today, got half me drive back and some brownie points off the missus

Tried to sell lots of parts off the car and managed to clear about £140 plus I'm off down the scrappy now to see how much it weighs in at... he offered me £50/ton and free collection so can't grumble with that! Hoping to make about £200 all in against a £300 outlay for the car so works out £100 for the donor, I can live with that!

Do you think now it a good time to ask her indoors for if I can go buy my new shocks

Thats worked out very well for you.

Out of interest did you ebay the parts, can I ask what went (lights?), as may help when I get to that stage, as I would like to do similar.

How much did it weigh in? My shell with all the glass and full of plastic interior parts plus the rear subframe weighed around 500 kg.

weighed about 750kg so he still gave me the £50. WRT parts I sold, headlamp wiper motors, headlamp wipers, ABS parts, switches, dash clock, passemger seat, window motors, various bits of trim on dash, still got more to sell but that can happen in slow time!

Just pull as much as you can possibly store and get them on fleabay (free listing days) and FSOC forum.

Good luck!

Someone on FSOC was looking for headlinings from Ghias.

Rear window motors and their looms are worth good money.

Electric sunroof?

Fuel Pump?
