Default 2015 First drive !

It was sunny today, and about 7°C, so I went for a spin with the Roadster. I could therefore try my Christmas present: a beautiful leather hood + goggles! Really cool

Hope the ones who finished their car can enjoy it too, now that spring is almost here, and the other ones get cracking on their builds now that it is not that cold in the workshops!

I took mine out to work today with its tonneau and side door. It was still quite cold with a scarf and helmet.

Have you got any pictures on the cover?

Saturn MX5 Based Chassis, Limited Slip Diff & 2.4 Quick Rack.

Build cost.... seems to be spending more on tools than car bits at the moment! (they will be handy in the future though).
Car iva'd and passed 15/08/2014. Finished weight 572kg.

There are a couple in my photo album in my sig or here
I made a template out of polyethylene and the cut it out and got my mum to see it together. It cost about £60 in total and I think looks pretty smart and covers the cockpit so I'm a bit happier to leave it unattended.
