Talking Another one

Well, I have finally managed to get a few photos up onto t'interweb.

I have been working on the Haynes on and off for about 10 months, but only got the steel for the chassis 2 weeks ago.

photos are here - http://s3.photobucket.com/albums/y54...es%20roadster/ but don't expect the progress to continue at this pace

nice photos there Sean, your build will be on wheels in next to no time

having it on wheels is a great milestone, it really does spur on the build even more, well done on your progress & keep at it.

cheers
andy

Well, thought I would post a little update.

The chassis is about 90% tacked up now, just the drivers panel on the transmission tunnel, suspension brackets, and seatbelt/harness brackets to add (plus some of the smaller bits like the brake line brackets)

I think that by close of play tomorrow, I should have started fully welding

Picked up an MT75 gearbox from Locostbuilders for £50, so that will get a lick of paint at some point.

Also picked myself up a plasma cutter, so have been playing (learning) with that.

Work has taken a frightening downturn, so, by mutual agreement, I am doing 3.5 day weeks for a while. This is good, as I have loads of other stuff to do, not to mention it gives me more time in the garage!!

I've uploaded another half dozen or so pics to Photobucket (link in signature)
