2000 Hyundai Accent - My last daily drive, dull but cheap and reliable...
Currently in reserve whilst I wait for the Alfa to explode.

2005 Renault Grand Scenic - My wife's bus

1992 Honda NTV650 - Currently SORN'd, but hoping to get it roadworthy for next summer.
I know how long Mr Tickles arm is, I read the book fairly regularly.

There's Only 2 things to be ashamed of

I have only ever had 1 French car, a 405 STDT bought on a whim, it was a realy nice looking example. But it came without MOT and it failed it's test and I could not be bothered... So I sold it for a loss.. Should have put some effort in as it could have been quite a good car for a few years.

Next thing I know the Plod are on the phone askign about it as it was dumped! .... Not My problem oifcer, V5 gone to DVLA for new owner..

I'm not embarrassed as I've always viewed my tintops as functional rather than fashionable. I'm also a tightwad and like to keep my motoring as cheap as possible. For that reason I buy cars and run them into the ground. (for ground, read scrapyard).

So I've got a 1998 escort which has been the most reliable car I've ever owned. Had it 10 years and still going strong. As the public visit the car park at work it's constantly getting knocked. I don't know how many headlamps it's had. Mind you I usually make a profit on the bumps. Last one gave me £80 not to go through insurance. £5 for a headlight from the local scrappy.

I've also got a 2005 facelift Focus. The wife wanted something less embarassing .

I've got a 2002 Suzuki Bandit in the garage. It does everything I want it to so see no need to buy anything else. Always kept legal but I find I'm using it less and less.

Oh and I've got about 50% of a Haynes Roadster in the garage.

Quite a few bikes in this lot, I like the idea of the pace of a bike but not the chance of adding to the statistics.. hence 4 week supa light car instead ..

Yeh. Still there. Richard the son took over some years ago. He's got a thing for mercs and has a few 190s in. Thats what type of fuel pump I'm fitting when he digs one out for me.
With the price of scrap supposedly about to drop he's weighing in a lot so hasn't got much in.
