2.0 DOHC Q's
Can a 2.0 DOHC be run on bike carbs/megajolt/squirt?
I want to do away with that chuffing great lump of ally plenum chamber? I havent looked at the engine since I dumped it in my garage a month or two ago. Cheers in advance

You can, or if you are a cheapskate like me you can modify your manifold for about 30 quid. It's quite easy to do ( I made several expensive cock ups but now I know how to do it, some details are on my web site - www.deepfolly.co.uk). I would do it a bit different if I was doing it again in that I would use a smaller ali box. It seems to work OK as is though.

Hi there, I retained the Sierra engine loom and made the rest of the loom from scratch. It is quite easy to make the engine loom as well, that way all the wires could be made to the correct length and routed very neatly. I shortened all my wires at the ECU end after I had test started the engine and made sure everything was OK.

Its actually slightly easier running a DOHC on megajolt than most engines, because it already has a 36-1 wheel and sensor built into the engine block. so it one less job off the list when it comes to setting up the engine.
