Default Not a Haynes Roadster but still a Pass

Norwich yesterday and passed with flying colours, first time, except for the speedo which gave up the ghost passed 63mph, we fixed / bodge dit there and then and spent an hour or so in the process but the tester said we had until 12 so why give up.
Its not a Haynes Roadster but my next one may well be.
SVA is still a scary process but the testers are not, they are very helpfull and true petrol heads.

My general observations of the day were that seat belt mounts and heights are important, edges and trim, steering located firmly and with correct clearance from steering joints i.e does not hit any thing when turned lock to lock, wheels don't hit body or wishbones on full lock.

They like to see tidy well constructed cars.

Brake test is a black art with brake balance calculated taking into account axle weights and center of gravity, when on the rollers the machine flashes up loads of numbers and in my case looked like i had a huge left right imbalance with numbers flashing red all over the place but then the machine has to do calculations on wheel base axle weights and C of G, Passed.

I had a Transit van full of tools and spares, trim, fixings etc.
