Unless you have access to either a hydraulic guillotine or a good quality plasma cutter save your self a lot of bother and just buy a chassis plate kit from Gillham online, life is just too short to spend that much time cutting it with an angle grinder. A little tip get 2-3 sheets of A4 paper cut all the chassis plates and arrange it on your sheet, it will make the cutting order easier to work out.

I only got the oddly-shaped parts laser cut, the rear upright parts, pedals, etc. The square ones are not such a big deal to cut out. I bought 100x120 cm or thereabouts and have about a third or a half left.

But if you want, a kit of chassis plates will save you a lot of noisy, dirty work and save you from a lot of iron dust in the garage.
