Default Help with BMW E36 diff

I'm trying to mount the diff off a BMW E36 into the rear box of the welded chassis. However without the engine mounted or the rear suspension built I can't measure where to place it. Has anybody got the measurements for the centres of the drive shafts and the diff so that I can relate this to my diff?

we have an engine from E36, 1.8L but we have used Ford diff because bmw half-axle were not fitting correctly, I think the left side was shorter than the right one, at least in our case it was like that

Thanks but I've measured mine and they are of equal length.
