Default Clutch cable connection

What are you guys using to connect the Mk 1 capri clutch cable to the pedal?

If it's the same one I've got a bolt through the plastic to the pedal. I think the pedal is sitting a but too far forward but you can trim the other metal end to get the correct pedal position.

My Capri clutch cable had a metal eye on the end of it. Just put a bolt with a nyloc nut through that to connect to the pedal.

I have fitted a bolt through mine but it just seemed rather close to the pedal supports with bolt, metal eye, pedal then nylock.
