Nice one Terry, its a great milestone to reach having it rolling Have you sat in it going "brum brum " yet ? ( we,ve all done it ).
My bellhousing ( Type 9 ) is 25mm below the bottom chassis rail, as is the bottom of my sump. You will probably have already got this covered but use the reverse light switch on the gearbox as a good indicator to how far back you have the engine/box in the chassis, mine is just rearward of the tranny tunnel upright. Nice wheels too cheers andy |

Nice work. Hopefully my build will be on its wheels soon too. Just waiting for a seat runner arriving, which got lost by the courier. Want to get this done first, to make working undrneath easier.

Terry, out of interest what gap is there between the top of the bellhousing and the chassis frame closest to it behind the cylinder head.
I am trying to sort the mounting height out for mine. Cheers. |
