Disposing of Disposable CO2 bottles
I seem to have collected a large number of these from my 2 chassis builds.
DOn't think my local tip will take them as they are "gas bottles" What are the options, would a scrappy take them they weigh a fair bit each so might have a bit of value in them?

Heh I know you shouldn't but I put mine out in with the normal rubbish... Taking them to the scrapy is a good idea though as they must weigh a kilo or two empty and £1.80 a kilo helps pay for the gas

Chop the tops off and weigh them in for scrap.

so whate the deal with weighing them in.
Do they have to have a hole drilled in. Think I have about 12-14 of them lying around. at 1.88 assuming about 1.5kg each for 12 thats errmmm £34! assuming its no massive hastle finding a scrappy near wellingborough!

If they are empty then the valve will be loose, and as it's an inert gas there is no chance of vapour being an issue.
£1.88/1.5KG that's £1253/T who on earth is payin that for Mild? TT
