Default suzuki ingnis problem

hi all
the wife has a ingnis thats 4 years old and the LHS drive shaft has popped out twice i,ve just checked on the internet and its a fault with the circlip. phones suzuki and they are unawhear of the problem where do we stand.

unless it has got a 5 year warranty then i would say you dont have a leg to stand on.

pop down the local motor factors and get a replacement. is it the gearbox side or the wheel side that has come out?

gear box side just checked on vosa it is a problem the circlip has been letting go

Remedial Action : Recall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace with new quality assured circlip.

Print that out, take it down to your local dealer and ask them to fix it. If they don't then contact trading standards. They should fix it if it's a known defect, it does not sound like an expensive fix so can't see them fighting too hard.
