Default Can I polish scratches out of a windscreen?

As above really, I have a heated caterham screen with some scratches where the windscreen wipers must have been very worn. I was just wondering if it's possible to polish scratches out of glass, and what would I need to use.

Cheers

Adrian

Yes you can polish scratches out of glass depending on how deep the scratches are ? you can buy kits off ebay and they do work, if your not in a hurry to do the job i'll show you the kit i use(off ebay) when you come for the chassis .

Adrian, not wanting to pee on the bonfire I had a word with our glass fitter/supplier and he said the only way to remove deep scratches was to get the glass manufacturer to use a buffer on it the same as when they are made.
Deep scratches will not come out, good luck .

windscreens seem pretty expensive. maybe a pro can buff a deep scratch out for less than a new screen.
