Default Exhaust

Hi,

back to the exhaust!

Is there much difference between the cvh (1.8) and a zetec exhaust manifold?

Or should i say - would the zetec manifold fit the cvh????

Probaly been mentioned before.

Sorry to differ Mark....

The cvh and zetec inlet and outlet manifold are exactly the same, you may have to trim a little bit off the outlet for a stud but they fit the same. I did a straight swap with mine only reason to change it later was for a full flow exhaust.

Oh well i cant always be correct

I just remember getting a zetec exhaust manifold gasket and laying it over the cvh and it didnt match very well at all

Didnt realise it would fit after a minor mod, good really as it will be easier for me come engine swap time.

Cheers for the replies,

I'm going to get a gasket and check anyway (not doubting anyone).

It would kill two bird with one stone if I upgrade at a later date for a zetec though.

Thats the beauty of a cvh all lot of the parts fit straight onto the zetec, even the engine mounting bolt pattern is the same.
