Hi!
I'm a bit confused about the measurements for the jig.
The jig-plate is 285 with a 25 tube on it =260mm
The angled plates are 5mm in and 6mm thick =249mm
The length of the wishbone is 253mm

Am I just thinking wrong or isn't this quite correct?

Thank you

I would appreciate some clarification before welding them up, anyone?

Sounds and looks correct to me.Just note that the two 25 x 6 plates are angled at 82'
P61 fig 5.9 shows 236mm + you need to add half the 33.7 to get the overall dimension of 252.85(253)

Ah, excuse me but what is correct?
If I make the wishbone in the jig it will be 249, should I alter it to allow 253?
Thank you

Don't worry too much about what is correct, it will not have much practical influence as the camber adjuster will compensate.

Hi Filip

I have just measured my upper front wishbones & they are 249mm long .... Made as per jig.

They have been test fitted to the car & are fine .... Plenty of adjustment left & penty of rod end thread, engaged in the wishbone boss.

You are correct .... The drawing on page 61 does indeed show an overall wishbone length of 253mm ( Rounded up )

This has probably left you even more confused but to be honest, there is so much adjustment there.
4mm is neither here nor there !!

If you want more thread in the wishbone boss, make them 253mm.

I don't know if others have measured theirs ??

Hope this is of some help

Thank you, now I'll just have to decide on doing it 249 or 253.
Cheers
