Thats what my donor was like, only paid £150 for it, was taxed & tested but the body was rotten, would never have passed another mot without lots of work underneath.

The car above does sound like the ideal donor, enough tax to get to drive it home then strip it

cheers
andy

Diesel
Pinto 1.6 and a 2.0
Xr4i
Xr4x4i
Dohc carb
Dohc inj
And a shed load of 1.8 cvh's

I dont really like the sierra (probs a bit before my time really) but i felt really bad for the the first 5mins of stripping my donor as it was in such good nick, there was hardly any rust apart from a couple of blebs on the rear arches

The feeling soon subsided when i cut the front end off with a 9 inch grinder though

I love em and have chopped up 3 and broken 1 other, and send another to a locost owner to kill..

But my Sapph and My XR are for keeps, especial with prices going up.
