Default Day out In the roadster

Had a cracking day northwield airfield. with a bit of a demo from Andy the instructor I managed to get round the longer track in 1min 4secs which felt bloody respectable considering that I only have a 1.6pinto and was faster than a lot of cars with much more power. Have a video that Chris (toltec) took of me going round.

Worst part of the day was driving home 2hrs in the scorching sun stuck on the m25 in traffic. I got cooked redder than a well done lobster.

Vid of Hicosts costwoth turbo powered monstor that my car appears in as one point

And finally a vid of james warners r4 putting in a 54.9 second lap which was 5 seconds faster than the next fastest car.

Looks like you had some fun Ash.

I cannot wait until I can do something like that in my own car. How much time did you get with the instructor?

There were 18 cars between 2 instructors. It sounds a lot but the whole day only cost 40 pounds. You got as much or as little instruction as you asked for. They also gave feedback after every run. Just need to stop my wilwood brakes from squealing now

Looks like a good day there Ash and some nice cars to.

Cars is cornering well, appears to be setup a lot better now and you're enjoying it.

Hey Ash,

looked like you had a cracking time. Sounded nice and looked like it was glued to the track

Not jealous, really I'm not - honest

Hi Ash,
I know you Know my car really well (Dogwoods old Roadster) having a great time with the car. He made a damn good job of her.
Would be great to try one of these days out.
Where was it and who is going next.
As you know I'm runing a 2.0lt pinto and would appriciate some advise on how to tweak it a bit.
I am afraid I don't have much mechanical knowledge so any mods would be carried out by 7 Indulgance, unless someone is up for plenty of beer tokens to give me some assistance.
Going to South of France this mounth and pop into see Dave (sadly not taking the Roadster).

Cheers,
Tony
