That would be great if GBS do decide to devlop and sell off the shelf windscreens for Haynes cars.

Whilst sympathising with the purist 'windscreens and roofs are for wimps' view (and being someone who takes the mickey out of anyone driving a roadster with the top on unless it's actually snowing ) I owned a Cobra replica a few years ago and soon got to appreciate the existence of a windscreen and weathergear not only allowed the car to be used all year but also made it much more practical to park in a drive when there was no garage available.

I ran my car without windscreen for quite a while, then fitted the screen which was better for general driving but still uncomfortable on a long motorway journey, fitted the side screens and the whole experience was a lot lot better.
Recently fitted the full wet weather gear and it reminded me of the Triumph Spitfire I had when I was 21.

Snapper- did you find you started to use the car a lot more than before. Good to see you are in Chelmsford, didnt know there were than many people building Locost/ haynes cars down her in the South.
