Default fitting the trackrod ends to the sierra front hub

have a prob fitting the trackrod ends/ balljoints to the sierra front hub as they wont go all the way in. there seems to be a collar on the joint and it will not fit in to the sierra hub . i dont want to hammer it in but dont know any other way unless i drill out the holes

any ideas welcome

If You have sierra track rod ends, and sierra hubs.

Should go fine, they are tapered so they pull together a bit.
