Well I have been waiting for a test date since submitting the forms 5 weeks ago. Spoke to the examiner at Llantrisant for the second time today and he's off on holiday so earliest date is likely to be week starting 14th of October, but he is going to confirm the week before after he is back in work.On the plus side examiner did seem very friendly and we had a nice chat. So 9 weeks in total at best-is that a record????

That chap at llantrisant is brilliant. I do a fair few damage repair cars, so see him a fair bit when I do vic check, he isn't too strict, & goes well out of his way to help. You will be in good hands !

Good morning David, I have been looking through your photos again and still think it is a well tidy build, but looking at the base of your headlights where the crome piece meets the headlight arms is there an edge there that maybe the testers sphere could come into contact with, please don't think i'm criticizing just trying to spot things to save a return trip to the testers

No the ring at the base of the headlight where it bolts onto the arm the third photo from the end showing close-up of top of shock, steering gaiters over the polybushes and the back of the headlight.
At the bottom of the headlight where it bolts on to the arm there is a chromed dome and the edge protrudes beyond the mounting boss

Hi Arf

No worries.thanks for having a look.Since the photos were taken I have glued edge trim over those edges.

Rpjg, I am in pontyclun so only have to pop around the corner to the test centre.

Fingers crossed that Bob likes the car
