Default Which fuel tank?

Does anyone know of any any fuel tanks from scrap donors that might fit my book spec chassis without too much modding?

The ones mentioned in the book dont seem to exist any more

Thanks in advance

there are all sorts of tanks that could be used form other 7 kits if you use the grp frame to suppot your tank and ditch the diagnals at the back (d13 iirc)

a guy does new well made alloy 35L ish tanks new for £60 for robin hoods that fit in the hole without diagnals and will give you a full boot space if you need it

the orignal car has a real small tank and a grp bak end makes it smaller in my opinon it would be better to use the roll bar back stays to support the back tub buy bringing them all the way down to the grp frame to help take the load
thats what im doing
i had made a mock up of my own design then i seen the ones on ebay for £60 in almost the right size so got one to see im thinking i might stick with it now

I spend about a week getting quotes of various companies and these guys were the cheapest by miles, took a week from order to del

Red face Too late thanks

Talon is doing a group build of steel long range custom tanks which will solve my problem and also mean a dont have to go to any of those nasty, dirty scrapyard places with big nasty oily dogs

Actually I love hunting through scrapyards but Id need to go into training now to build up the stamina
