Is it a black, rectangular conector near the steering column/cluster?
I will check the diagrams tonight but I suspect it will be the "Lights on" warning chimer, which is a black box about 1" x 1" x 2" with a grill on the top. TT

The colours match the light stalk which is combined with the wiper stalks.

you need a two position light switch of some sort.
Theres not a lot of point fitting the full stalk just for lights. TT
