Default zetec to mt75 clutch and flywheel

Iv got a 2.0 blacktop engine which was out an automatic, have looked about and seems like i should buy a 1.8 flywheel and use 1.8 zetec clutch, iv just bought a 1.8 focus flywheel from ebay is listed for a 98-05 model "not the duel mass", iv also bought a 1.6/1.8 escort clutch and i want to know if they will fit and to make sure that there were no different variations of the two? Here are the links to the two items.

The clutch you posted is no good. Its for the lighter duty gearbox the Ib5 and has a smaller first motion shaft.

using the Mt75 you can use the less popular 2.0 flywheel and the 240mm cllutch.

If you have bought the 1.8 flywheel you want the clutch from an early 1.8 mondeo with the mtx75 gearbox that has the 1" 23 spline shaft.

you will then need a thrust bearing with a 20mm spacer stuck on. Either making one or the westfield one.

You have another problem first.

The alloy housing for the crank pick up sensor is differant in the auto to the manual. you need the manual or it will not fire.

Hi mate, yes i know about the crank sensor, i think the mtx75 has 23 splines doesnt it? Wouldnt a 240 mm clutch be too big for the flywheel i bought? I think this is the clutch you mean.

Thats a 240mm clutch and will fit the 2.0 mondeo flywheel aswell as the 130 spec 1.8 engines also 240mm.

But if you buy a 1.8 flywheel you will want the early mondeo 1.8 clutch that was 220mm and used the mtx75 gearbox.

looks like it as it says mtx75 but it also says bc and I thought that was the smaller shaft.
