Where is the best place to buy an up to date iva book? Or has someone got a copy they would like to sell?

I don't think there is a book you can buy. You can download it off the net. Do a search on here I think there is a link

Last book i had on kit cars was an sva , still got that but its about 10 years old, has much changed?

I think there have been quite a lot of changes since sva. You can download the manual for free of the government website. I don't find it a straightforward read, its ambiguous in places too.
