My own - 2 litre Pinto and Mazda MX5 - the Mazda is a much better option. Why do you ask?

Well I'm curious to know what fits nicely and what doesn't need body or chassis modifying as in drastic changes and that I can see what options are there and shop around

Must say the MX5 option is simple and the gearbox is a better unit than the old type 9 and is lighter. Its a very good simple and robust unit. If I built again I might go for a 1,8 unit but am happy with my 1.6 NB unit

I'm building the Sierra based chassis just not sure engine and gearbox but it's taking long for me to build it due to health and finances so I do what I can when I can and also alone doing this no outside help so progress is slow but will get there

I installed an Honda S2000 F20C engine and box but required modifications to the top chassis rails for the gearbox to fit.
