Default Stumped !

With a little luck i aim to be make a start on building my own car in the next couple of months.Donor car my hearts saying scorpio cosworth (my heads saying dont even go there lol).Ive read some threads on here and basicly the people that have used the v6 have also used the granada uprights and diff and adapted mounts etc to fit.....whats wrong with using sierra uprights and having a prop made to fit the sierra diff,to me it seems the easiest way (iam new so take it easy plz)

1) Make sure you built to MT75 Specification. on the tunnel as the V6 Boxes are wider than the 4pots.

2) Think about the gearbox, Type 9 V6's are costly, MT75 don't exist so have to be built from a 2.5D box and 4x4 box or with more work from a standard 2.0 Box and 4x4 box.

3) The 24V plenum will be very high, you won't get the standard saturn bonnet to fit and the enlarged one may not either.

4) are you talking Scorpio Cosworth or Granada cosworth? If the former then the BOB engine is controlled by an EEC-V ecu which has a complex imobaliser to overcome.

5) Scorpio Coswroth BOB engine will require 2 cats!

6) I tried with a 12V and have switched my plan to a 4 POT.

Diffs are the same between Sierra/Scorp/Granada.
