mecatech was the brand we used in the garage
thay where well handy for the french stuff where you had to take the complete shaft apart
just cut the old one of and lube the cone, over the cv and push the new cv untill the tortoice pokes its head out and pop you streched the hole boot over the cv
tryed it once with a normal boot and it split like a cheap condom

Can't believe it was May when I posted this. Seems like yesterday.

Anyway I'm going to look around for a new (old) driveshaft.

Can anyone tell me if both types will fit my diff and bearing carriers?
