Started on the peddal box

Well done sylvan, just in the nick of time ! I was about to start the pedals in the next few weeks, but I was going to use my mx5 pedal box, as the standard ones look a little flimsy. Definitely going with your plans, very well done mate !

Well I think it would be criminal not to as we don't have any candidates until the 23rd of this month.
If you look carefully at photos' you will see that where I milled the hole for the boss that gets welded in it actually broke through the pedal wall so on the other two I moved the hole center 1 mm inboard and that stopped the cutter from breaking through and makes very little difference to the operation.

To follow Arfon in some useful remark, I noticed on my pedal box that the stroke of the accelerator pedal is wee too short.

I respected the books pedal's ratios, but as it is a straight shaft, the top of the pedal touches CP16 before the throttle is completely open (at least with my Sierra 2.0i DOHC). Perhaps other engines have shorter cable length to pull, so it will be OK.

On mine, I can only pull the full cable length if the pedal if fitted on the last bracket's hole (I mean, the ones farther from CP16, or the most towards the rear of the car if you prefer)

I might need to add a a cam-piece somewhere to solve the problem.

I thought it would be good to warn the ones who will build this pedal box in the future.
