Default Fuel filler

Does anyone know if the fuel caps off motorbikes are suitable for use on kitcars? They seem (looking at a photo) pretty ideal. They are lockable, some are tethered and they bolt on.

Pretty good idea providing you can get it to fit on to a pipe as they have no form of neck.
