Minimal wheel/rim size is 15" (someone write that in some cases steel 14" is OK).
So to keep it lightweight you want 15"... and 195/50R15 tyres.

Steel wheels are normally lighter than clunky alloys unless the alloys are magnesium efforts which are then a bit iffy on our crap pot holed roads....oh and bloody expensive.

anything as light as the roadster will suffer from too low profile tyres
there is no rubber bussing in the suspension as well so unless your building a track tool i would not be going too big also look common tyre sizes as if you want to go for an odd size it starts to get expensive. i could never get it that alloys where sposed to be lighter but rarely where wounder if you can still get wellers? |

Weller motorsport wheels were good but doubt you can get them anymore

If you're going Sierra dash then stick with 195x50/15" they'll give you the correct reading for the speedo off the gearbox feed. Also tyres are nice and cheap for this size to - Toyo Proxes T1-r full set for £130 and they are a good sticky tyre.
